Christmas in October with Nana & Papa!!

I love my family!!!
Wow, a month has almost went by since my last post!  So much has happened, which is why I think my procrastination has kicked in and made me baulk at the thought of trying to play catch up with a string of several mini posts.  So here goes...we started out the month with an awesome twelve day trip to the Carolinas to visit family and friends.  Joshua was invited to preach the 194th Homecoming service of Bethany FWB Church in Timmonsville, SC, so we went to North Carolina to celebrate Christmas early with our families.  We had such a good and relaxing time and really enjoyed each of the visits!
We had a great time with Nana and Papa celebrating Christmas early this year!  Elliot enjoyed all the cuddles his Nana gave him!
Ethan loved going to Faith's many playgrounds with Papa!  He loves to swing and slide!  It was on this trip that he went down the slide by himself for the first time!  He made some great memories with Papa and Nana during our time together!
Here's a picture I just had to add of Papa and his grandboys. I love how the boys are wearing the same outfit :))
It was so good to see Auntie Bec during any time she could spare, but her BOYFRIEND was down for the weekend so she was a bit preoccupied!  I can't believe my Becca Boo has a boyfriend!
I guess he'll pass, even though he's a Buckeye.  (He did wear the Alabama shirt we gave him for Christmas during a photo op.)  I'm so happy for her she is just beaming with joy and beauty from the inside out.  Dad approves too :)
Nana and Elliot had a good time in the nurser at Faith on Sunday morning!  We were so glad to be at Faith for a service and reconnect with old friends.  Ethan loved being in a class with so many other two year olds!  When he walked into his class and saw all the kiddos he said, "Oh Wow!  Hi guys!"  He's definitely not shy.
Memaw and Elliot got in lots of cuddle time.  She's too cute, and soaked up every minute she could with our lil' pumpkin.  I'm so glad she was able to join us at Mom and Dad's for the weekend.
We were so glad to enjoy some time fellowshiping with our friends and mentors Missionaries Bobby and Sue Aycock.  They are such an inspiration to our family.

Another highlight was the family photo session we had with Alexis Taylor of Savor the Moment photography!  She has such a creative eye for her photos.  She posted a sneak peek that you can view by clicking here.  Be sure to check out her facebook page here. Even though it was raining, we were able to use the beautiful fellowship hall at Faith.  What a great visit we had with our family; so thankful for them!
