Day with Family in NC

We had a wonderful time with our family on Monday! That morning we drove to LaGrange to spend some time with Maye. We had a good time visiting with her, and then met Elijah at Andy's in Snow Hill for lunch. They have the best cookies and cream milkshakes!

That afternoon, we celebrated Daddy's 50th Birthday a week early with Hershey Cake. I think I have a new favorite cake. We had a good time playing Wii sports and resort with Momma & Daddy, and I'm not sure who the champion was, but I know it wasn't me...LOL. It sure was a great day with our family. I praise God for Christian parents and siblings. We are so blessed.

How Six Months Can Fly!

This weekend our Juniors will be at the ballfield with Bro. Josh's Wild & Wacky World of Sports. Next week we will be focusing on getting all the food together for the hotdog plates, pricing the items for the yardsale, rounding up volunteers, and cleaning up at the ballfield for the yardsale next Saturday. It's going to be a fun and busy week.

Wow! I can't believe that we are six months along the prenatal path! I can't believe that the time has flown by so quickly! We are officially 24 weeks today. According to, Ethan is eight and a half inches long, one and a half pounds this week. His ears are getting sharper at picking up sounds and his face is fully formed. I am still amazed at how God forms and shapes us throughout this stage. What a wonderful God we serve.

Springtime Fun

Daisy loves playing outside with Joshua.

Springtime Fever is in the air! We have been soaking in the warm sunny rays and enjoyed watching Daisy do the same. She just loves to be outside; normally she can be found stretched out on the porch or under Joshua's truck. But her favorite is playing chase or fetch.

Fun times with my husband and the teens at Medieval TimesJellybean Sandcastle made with 254,093 Jellybellies

The past week seems to have flown by! We had a great time taking the teens to Medieval Times and the Broadway Shops last Saturday. The show was great, and the food was even better! God blessed us with perfect weather for the trip and a fun group of teens and adults to go with us.

Momma & Daddy visited us on Easter weekend!

On Monday we had another Baby appointment. Ethan is officially 23 weeks and 1 day today. Dr. Phillips said that Ethan is growing well. His heartbeat is 154 beats per minute. Before we left Dr. Phillips said t…

Of Bunnies & Baby Registries

Last night, Joshua and I went on a fun date to Chili's. It's such a joy to spend time with the man I love! While we were out we went over to Target too...and all the Easter stuff was 75% off! So, we got little Ethan his first Thomas the Train for $3.75 and a bib for next Easter for only 75 cents. I sure do enjoy finding a good bargain.

Then tonight Amy Postlewait and I met at Target to start our baby registries. She is expecting a little girl (Anna Grace) in June. It was so much fun to play with the registry guns and think about all the fun things that our Ethan and her Anna will be using in the near future. Praise the Lord for good friends!

Tomorrow Joshua and I are looking forward to taking our teens to Medieval Times in Myrtle Beach. We should be posting some pictures from that soon. I hope that these thoughts were not too jumbled...I just wanted to give you a quick update from this week.
